Celebrating 60 Years of New Zealand-Singapore Friendship 2025 marks a truly special occasion for both our nations – 60 years of diplomatic relations! On 10 August 1965, New Zealand was one of the first countries to officially recognise Singapore, and since then, our partnership has blossomed into one of the most dynamic and enduring in the Asia-Pacific region.
From groundbreaking trade agreements to close defense cooperation, the bond between New Zealand and Singapore has only grown stronger over the decades. Let’s continue to celebrate this exceptional relationship throughout the year – here’s to many more years of collaboration, friendship, and prosperity ahead!
