This year, our celebration of NZ artists will be spilling out into the reception hall where we will be presenting for the first time a New Zealand Art Gallery and Auction, showcasing the fine art photography of Shelton Woolright and his 'Lonesome Beast Native Collection'.

In this series of photographic prints, Shelton was given exclusive access to the national taxidermy vaults at the Auckland Museum. What emerged is a striking documentation of some of New Zealand's most beloved, iconic and endangered national treasures. Each limited edition print is wax sealed, hand numbered and signed by the artist on certified archival paper.

The collection will be on display at the Shangri-La Hotel on 25 August from 9am-4pm for General Public viewing, and from 7pm for guests of the 2018 ANZ Aotearoa Ball. All pieces will be available for purchase, with sizes ranging from A3 to the stunning A0.
