Overview of the New Zealand jobs market
Shay Peters (Managing Director - Australia & New Zealand of Robert Walters)
Shay Peters
Shay Peters is the Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand for leading global recruitment firm, Robert Walters. Shay is responsible for 9 offices, with over a team of over 350 people across the ANZ region. Shay has extensive experience in the NZ and global recruitment sector. His international career saw him work for another large mulit-national agency in London in 2009. Shay then joined Robert Walters when he moved home to New Zealand and started as a consultant where he quickly progressed his career, growing with Robert Walters into a senior leadership role before being promoted to the Managing Director of NZ. In his time at Robert Walters New Zealand Shay has helped grow the business significantly with staff numbers more than doubling and the opening of a third office. The business is continuing to grow with pace.

Kirsty Hulston (Regional Director, Singapore of Hays Recruitment)
Kirsty Hulston
Kirsty currently leads the Hays Singapore operations and specialises in recruiting executive level roles. Prior to being based in Singapore, she gained varied experience across the APAC region having lived in New Zealand, Australia and China. In her most recent role leading both the Hays Guangzhou and Shenzhen offices in Guangdong province, Kirsty led teams across several major industry sectors including Technology, Manufacturing & Supply Chain & Financial Services. With nearly 15 years recruitment experience including five yrs based in Asia, she currently leads a team of 80 people in Singapore. Kirsty graduated in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in International Relations from Canterbury University, New Zealand. She completed her postgraduate studies in international development through Massey University in 2018 and has a particular interest in gender development
