Event Details

Sustainability is a necessity for businesses due to changing expectations from consumers, investors, and governments globally, and the increasing urgency to act on the climate and biodiversity crisis. The pandemic has demonstrated how deeply interconnected planetary and human health is, and there is an emerging sensitivity about how business action needs to genuinely transition away from activities that are carbon-intensive, destructive to the ecosystem, create decent work, and social inclusion.

Brands and businesses want to embed sustainability principles at the heart of their business models, but many underestimate the scale of the change because sustainability is unique to every industry and every business. Because of Singapore's location, it is uniquely positioned to neutrally convene parties on how to transition Asia Pacific, funnel investment into new business models to catalyse innovation, and equally distribute value in business models and value chains.v

Our panel will discuss where they are on their journey to becoming more resilient, embedding sustainability into their business model, and the innovative opportunities that have arisen. At this interactive event you will:

  • Hear from leaders and learn about the key opportunities and issues involved in their transition;
  • Discuss how influential business and brands can be in improving sustainability performance and creating a transformative future; and
  • Understand the initiatives your business could take from the perspective of a range of different industries.

The world will continue to move faster than we can imagine, and we no longer have the luxury to focus on a particular crisis. Join us to hear how the changes we make now can deliver a more sustainable business ecosystem.

This event is for anyone interested in how sustainability can be implemented in business and why continuous improvement is important.
