To start with the first 2019 Breakfast of Champions series, we are thrilled to host Portia Woodman - New Zealand Black Ferns Women's 7s.

Portia Woodman is a current New Zealand Women's 7s player and widely regarded as one of the top three 7s players in the world right now alongside Perry Baker from the USA and Jerry Tuwai from Fiji. Portia has won gold medals at the Commonwealth Games and World Cup 7s in 2018, and a silver medal at the Rio Olympics.

She is also a member of the NZ Black Ferns 15s team that won the Rugby World Cup in 2018. Portia was named the 2015 World Rugby Women's Sevens Player of the Year and in 2017 was named World Rugby Women's Player of the Year. She is the top try scorer in World Series 7s history.
